Youth Music Collective
Song Conversations is offering a series of free creative music workshops for 13-19 year olds at Te Whai Community House.
Six weekly drop in sessions will be held every Wednesday from 3-5 pm from 27th of March - 1st of May.
These weekly drop in workshops will be followed by two free Sunday workshops.

Christmas Aroha Basket Drive
Our 2023 Christmas Aroha Basket Drive is underway!
With the help of our generous community we are aiming to distribute 100 Christmas Food Parcels to families and individuals within our community.
We are collecting non perishable Christmas foods and presents for children (please ensure all presents are new and unwrapped) at the following points around Mangawhai:

- Bayleys Mangawhai
- Before 6 Daycare
- Fame
- Four Square Mangawhai Heads
- Mangawhai Beach School
- Mangawhai Museum
- Mangawhai Opportunity Factory

Youth Week Lip Sync Battle
THE BATTLE IS ON!!!
Following the success of our recent karaoke competition we are holding our first Lip Sync Battle for Youth Week!
If you're aged 12-18 it's time to start practising your moves! Individuals, duos and groups are welcome to enter, with cash prizes up for grabs for the most entertaining performances!!!
🥇1st place - $300
🥈2nd place - $200
🥉3rd place - $100
We'll also have beautiful pizzas made on site thanks to the Mangawhai Community Gardens and Donato from TerraGallo. Slices can be purchased for a koha (donation).

Te Whai Charity Golf Tournament - postponed until 6th August 2023
Please join us for Te Whai's Charity Golfing Tournament at Mangawhai Golf Club on Sunday 30th April.
An array of great prizes, raffles and auctions will be up for grabs on the day including a HOLE IN ONE PRIZE of a FORD ESCAPE ST-LINE X PLUG-IN HYBRID (PHEV) valued at $68,990!!!
🏌️$70 per person. Includes BBQ & non alcoholic drinks on course plus food platters in the Club House after your round.
